Summer Conferences
Student Center & Event Services is UC Irvine's coordinating point for summer conference programs and will assist you with all the necessary arrangements for your conference.
Meeting
Residence Hall Space
Our residential housing facilities have limited meeting space available for group gatherings, formal meetings and recreational activities. Please inquire with your Conference and Event Specialist regarding residential meeting space options and availability.
Campus Space
Whether you are planning an academic lecture, a break-out
session, or your company’s annual meeting, the UC Irvine campus has several
indoor and outdoor meeting space options. Our meeting and conference facilities
include more than 100 general
assignment classrooms and lecture halls, an 11,156 square foot ballroom,
and our 425-seat Crystal Cove Auditorium. We also have a wide range of other
venues available for your group's use that can be outfitted with audio/visual

Off-Campus Space
Orange County offers beautiful beaches and breathtaking
views of the California coastline. From fieldtrips to the beach to rigorous
teambuilding activities, your events can be held at a wide variety of locations
in the vicinity of the Irvine campus.
Eating
Dining Commons
Our dining commons are located in or near our residence
halls and offer an impressive variety of nutritious cuisines for many dietary
needs and preferences. The Hospitality & Dining Services website gives an overview of Mesa and Pippin Dining Commons and their menu items.
Special Events Catering
Catering services are provided by UC Irvine’s Hospitality
& Dining Services. Your Conference & Event Specialist will work with
you and a member of the Hospitality & Dining Services team to create a menu
that is right for your event. From refreshment breaks and barbecues to Hawaiian
luaus and sumptuous banquet buffets, we prepare customized menus especially for
your event and budget.
Sleeping
Residence HallsResidence hall accommodations are available from late June through late August. UC Irvine’s summer conference program can accommodate groups of up to 1,000, depending on availability. On-campus residence hall facilities provide clean and comfortable accommodations in both single and double occupancy rooms with traditional-style hall bathrooms. A weekly linen exchange service is included in room and board rates. For more information about each hall, click on the links below.

Your comfort and safety are our top priorities. Here are just a few of the ways our residence hall staff work to serve you:

Service Desk: Conveniently located within each residential complex, our service desks are staffed by UC Irvine students who can assist you with all your onsite needs including check-in and checkout services, lost key and meal card replacement, Internet cable rentals, and how to navigate the campus.

Safety & Security: Entry to residence halls is controlled by restricted access keys or key cards. In addition, Conference Assistants (CAs) live onsite and provide lock-up and lock out services to all conferences. All hall exterior doors are locked 24 hours. CAs check the doors in each hall nightly.

Internet Access: Residential housing accommodations in Mesa Court, Middle Earth, and Arroyo Vista are hard wired for Internet access through the campus network. To obtain Internet access for your group, please speak with a Conference and Event Specialist in advance. A limited number of connection cables are available for rent from Service Desks.
Hotel UCI
Hotel UCI is the perfect summer location for visiting
professors, graduate researchers, or short/long-term programs. Hotel UCI offers
private occupancy in two-bedroom, one bathroom, furnished apartments. For more

conference, our team has the experience and expertise to make your event a

The Booking Process
We
want to make the booking process as simple and efficient for you as possible. Below are some simple steps to ensuring you have a successful summer conference.
Steps to Success:
- Submit a Summer Conference Inquiry Form. Forms may be emailed to reserver@uci.edu, faxed to 949.824.3055, or mailed to the Student Center & Event Services office at A311 Student Center, Irvine, CA 92697-2050.
- Obtain a cost estimate for your program.
- Take a site tour.
- Sign a Summer Conference Agreement. Please note that accommodations are not guaranteed until an agreement has been signed by the client and by Student Center & Event Services.
- Attend planning meetings with your Conference & Event Specialist to refine program details and costs.
- With the assistance of UC Irvine staff, conduct your conference.
- Handle any remaining balances that are billed to you. See our payment and billing information for details.

Orange County has 42 miles of beautiful coastline, three
harbors and 25 urban and wilderness parks – including 230 miles of riding and
hiking trails. The beaches and harbors host world-class yachts, dinner cruises,
electric boats and Olympic-caliber kayakers and rowers. The parks include
